I have had a strong interest, from an early age, in sewing and the arts. In the mid '90s I began exploring alternative healing venues based on vibrational energy.
I am certified in the Second Degree of the Usui Reiki Healing System.
Starting with a specific intention with its unique vibrational energy, I identify elements with matching energy and use them to create artwork which makes the beholder feel good.

Original Fiber Art
The original Intentional Fiber Art Quilt Wallhangings are approximately 17" x 17" energizing, heart-warming, and handcrafted from the highest quality components.
Components include Eri Peace Silk and silk chenile, silk thread, organic cotton batting, and ethically mined semi-precious stones.
Eri Peace Silk is produced in such a way that the life cycle of the silk producing caterpillar is allowed to naturally fulfill itself. The transformation of the caterpillar into the dormant chrysalis and then into a winged silk moth is complete.
One of the most beautiful qualities of this silk is its abarjz. Abrajz refers to the subtle effects of dye lot variations. With the exquisite hues possible with Natural Dyes, this variation is considered an asset to the artistry of the piece. Variegation is a change of hue (color) or shade (depth) within one dyelot. Both variation and variegation are denoted by the term abrajz.
